Fabric Sculpture
In this class we will be making a 50cm tall sculpture of a man or woman sitting on a plinth. This is a beginner's class and you will learn the simple techniques that are the building blocks of many other more advanced sculptures. The sculptures will be a single colour of your own choice. When your figurine is dry it will appear soft and flowing while being hard and weatherproof. It is equally at home in indoor or outdoor settings. You will be amazed how a simple wire armature and a few pieces of fabric can give such dramatic results. To see some fabric sculpture, go to www.makeastatue.com.au. Course fee includes all materials.
