Chainsaw Operations Level 1 (Weekend Camp)
This is a safe chainsaw operations and maintenance camp for the casual / domestic user. It is conducted at "Interactional", 3000 acres of forest and farmland in the Tweed Valley between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. On Saturday you will cover chainsaw theory. Sunday is chainsaw practical, in which you will make a chair, learn how to mortise, how to analyse and utilise the natural reactive forces of the saw, and trouble-shooting and diagnosis. All meals are supplied, and you can bring a tent or stay in the shared dorm accommodation. We camp near the Tweed River, so bring your fishing gear and an esky.
