    VETAB Accredited course

    This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to extract and serve espresso, use a commercial espresso machine, foam silky milk correctly, understand the different coffees on the menu, and store coffee correctly. Cleaning, care and maintenance of machinery are also covered. You will learn the subtle skills needed to consistently produce a perfect espresso, a smooth creamy latte or cappuccino. To become a professional barista a genuine passion and enthusiasm for coffee is required. On successful completion of the course participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for SITHFAB012A Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee. No concessions apply to this course.
